For Every 100,000 AstraZeneca Vaccines - benefits vs. risks

Some context to the level of "protection" taking the experimental AstraZeneca shot provides, divided into age groups.

We were given a copy of this information sheet which is being handed out to hospital staff. There is no certainty about how long the vaccine provides protection for and for what strains it is effective against.

Currently, US regulator the FDA doesn’t recognise AstraZeneca as an approved vaccine.

Approvals for a 3rd 'booster' shot are now in discussion, expected to be needed after 8 months. What are the risks after taking consecutive shots? Will that be monitored and by who?

Note the disclaimer at the bottom:

"Estimates of risks are uncertain as rates are based on small numbers of vaccinations in people under 50 in Australia."
