One must ask why, from day one, the focus of the medical establishment was not on finding an immediate treatment protocol, it was solely on developing a coronavirus vaccine - something that had already eluded scientists for well over a decade.
Now, 18 months into the pandemic, after Frontline Doctors have been silenced, shamed and threatened for daring to attempt to treat Covid patients, the 'testing phase' is just beginning on a drug that has already been approved for decades. A drug with relatively minor side effects. It defies belief! (Read more about treatment with Ivermectin here)
From the article:
Professor Chris Butler, from the University Oxford’s Nuffield Department of Primary Care Health Sciences, Joint Chief Investigator of the PRINCIPLE trial, said, ‘Ivermectin is readily available globally, has been in wide use for many other infectious conditions so it’s a well-known medicine with a good safety profile, and because of the early promising results in some studies it is already being widely used to treat COVID-19 in several countries. By including ivermectin in a large-scale trial like PRINCIPLE, we hope to generate robust evidence to determine how effective the treatment is against COVID-19, and whether there are benefits or harms associated with its use.’
How can it have taken 18 months to even BEGIN this trial, when doctors have been sounding the alarm about Ivermectin as a successful treatment for well over a year!?
One outspoken (and frustrated) medic whose has stepped up to the plate has been Dr Peter McCullogh, MD, MPH. In this video Dr McCullogh testifies to the Texas Senate.
"I had patients with heart and lung disease, who needed urgent treatment, before they got sick enough to be hospitalised ... I refused to let a patient languish at home for 2 weeks with no treatment, and then be hospitalised when it was too late. It was obvious... it was obvious in April (2020) that that was the case".
THIS IS ESSENTIAL VIEWING:
By comparison, the medical establishment took no such tender steps, heavily promoting a completely new vaccine for it's kind after just a few months (that is still in clinical trials) claiming it is 'safe for everyone' and 'the benefits outweigh the risks' to anyone concerned about taking it.
